This month our Killer Queen is our ultimate style, travel and hair inspo Monique Palombo aka: @Fashionbymnp
We asked her some quick fire questions that we were dying to know- read on to get to know her a little better.
- Who is your fashion icon(s)?
I would say Rosie Huntington, Kourtney Kardashian, Olivia Culpo and Sofia Richie - I love their style!
- Where are you from?
I’m from Glasgow!
- If you could only wear one brand for the rest of your life what brand would it be?
Currently, what is your favourite skincare products?
I have really dry skin so I always use E45 as a moisturiser day and night. I use a Clinique cleanser and toner. And I love Dove tinted moisturiser on my body for an extra glow! I have been using that since I was at school.
How would you describe your fashion sense?
I would say my fashion sense during the day is quite simple and basic. Really glam if I’m going out at night!
What is your go-to hairstyle?
Either curled with a middle parting or a high sleek ultra tight ponytail! I love wearing my hair up it feels so much better.
- What is your morning/ night-time routine?
I’m so not a morning person - If I need to be up early I try sleep for as long as possible and get ready as quickly as possible! Night-time is completely different - during the week I have a bath every night, watch some Netflix and go to bed before 10pm. I also wear ear plugs and an eye mask to bed every night to ensure I don’t get a disturbed sleep - I can’t function without sleep.
- What’s one surprising fact about you?
I can’t sleep without socks on 🙂
Describe yourself in 3 words.
Happy, quiet and honest
- Ultimate celebrity crush?
Justin Bieber always.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
Probably finishing my dissertation, I never thought I would be able to!
- Cats or dogs?
Dogs. I love dogs. They are better than people.

I am currently watching You - it is so creepy but so addictive! I also like Power
Who are you favourite youtubers and bloggers?
I really love the bloggers; @majamalnar, @viktoriahuttet and @majamarko7 - I get so much style inspo from them! My favourite Youtubers are Nate & Karissa - they play such funny couple pranks on each other I think it’s hilarious. I also really love Miss Molly on Youtube!
What is your idea of a dream holiday?
My idea of a dream holiday is a gorgeous beach, amazing weather and places to party - I love getting glammed up on holiday!
What is your go-to McDonalds/Nando’s order?
Nandos - medium chicken burger with a slice of pineapple, perri perri chips, halloumi and a fanta. The froyo is fab too.
What is your go to drink on a night out?
Either a gin + tonic or champagne! I love French martinis too. Or an aperol spritz in the sun!

Stop overthinking, stop worrying, just do and say what you want to - everyone else does!

Nuxe oil - I put this in my hair, on my body and face - it’s such a good multi purpose oil, it keeps everything soft, smooth and smells amazing.
- What’s the best job you’ve ever had?
The best job I have had is probably the one I am currently in! I do social media and marketing for an outdoor clothing brand. It is my first job since leaving university so it feels that bit extra special.
- What is your favourite thing about social media?
I love getting endless fashion inspo. I also LOVE home accounts, I have a full saved folder full of home instagram images for inspiration when I get my first home. I also really like seeing where people go when they are on holiday / out for dinner etc as it gives you places to go when you are visiting a place! It’s also nice to meet other bloggers that you have stuff in common with!
Lastly, what is the charity that you will be donating to/ doing a giving back day with? Why this charity?
I am going to be donating lots of clothes and belongings to the charity ‘Glasgow women’s aid’ - It is a shelter for women and children who have become homeless or had to leave their homes due to abuse - many of them have little to no belongings. I feel so lucky to receive a lot of clothes from brands, some that I often only wear once or a few times. I would like to give back to these woman as they deserve and need clothing a lot more than I do.
